Award Lovin

I was recently given two awards!

1. Cherrio’s + Banana’s and milk = the best breakfast ever!

2. I hold my breath when I put on mascara

3. I once worked at the oldest race track in the U.S. When working there I met David Cassidy, Bobby Flay & His wife Stephanie March. Betcha didn’t know they own horses!

4. I also worked at a relatively well known Bakery that was once featured on Rachael Ray’s $40 a day!

5. My parents went to prom together, but didn’t start “dating” until years later

6. I read my magazines back to front

7. I’ve traveled to California & Almost every state in the northeast, but have never been to any of the lovely middle states or southern ones. Someday I will!

Ah. I was lucky enough to receive not 1, but 2 awards this week. Both were from Jill at Life After College. Thank you so much! Jill and I grew up in the same area (go go upstate NY!) and then met in the blogosphere. What a small blogger world! Anywhoozer, here are the rules for the first award.

Happy 101 Award

Hey all! I just* received the “Happy 101 Award” from Jill at Life After College. If you don’t know her blog.. you should most defiantly check it out!

*(just as in a few days ago..sorry for the delay! I have been so busy!)

10 things that make me happy (in no particular order):

1. The men in my life, Chris, Cooper & Budman

2. Sleeping. This fought hard for the number 1 position. I honestly have an unhealthy need for sleep.

3. My job. Is that strange? I guess I just feel that I’m lucky to have a job that I like.. during a time where a lot of people would take any job.

4. Christmas Shopping. I loveee buying things for other people…

much more than buying things for myself!

5. Reading. I haven’t had time to actually READ something that wasn’t assigned…so over break I’m making that a priority!

6. Traveling

7. The fact that many of my friends are coming home from school this week!

8. Cooking!

9. Eating.

10. Coffee. Mmmm.

Honest Scrap Award

I have been given the “Honest Scrap Award”

Here are the rules of the award

“10 Honest Things”

Over the summer, I sprained a joint in my neck taking my hair out of a towel (probably one of the most painful experiences I’ve had)

2. I have gone through 4 cars in 4 years. (94′ Ford Escort (RIP Bandit), 92′ VW Jetta (I never really liked you anyway), 92′ Honda Civic (RIP), and am not on my my next victim, a 97′ Honda Civic.

3. I usually fall asleep before 11 pm.

4. I desperately want to move out of my parents house. Nothing against my house… but I would really love to have my own home.

5. Sleeping is one of my favorite past times!

6. I love buying books, I have shelves full of books I haven’t had time to read!

7. I have tomorrow off from work (for veterans day) because I technically work for the state!

8. What I dislike most about driving home from school at 9pm are the deer. Twice this year (so far) have I seen a bloody mess of a formally functioning deer all over the highway. It gives me nightmares!

9. I finally ordered a pair of boots! These should be ~~arriving~~ arrived today!

10. I am going to see Daniel Tosh this Saturday, and Jim Gaffigan in December…so excited!
