Last Saturday I had the amazing opportunity to meet three of the ladies behind Chobani with a group of other bloggers at the Healthy Living summit. When I first got an email with my invite I was super pumped! I had never been to anything like this before and was shocked to know that they even knew who I was. After a long day of summit sessions an evening out with new friends was just what I needed.
We were seated in a private room where the beverages immediately started flowing. I had the great opportunity to sit next to two of the ladies from Chobani, Amy and Ashley.
The first course was one of my favorites- Heirloom tomatoes, yogurt gelee, spearmint, basil, EVOO and course salt. Oh. my. I was nervous about what the gelee would be like, but it was SO good. I would prefer it over fresh mozzarella if I had the opportunity!
The second course was one that I really looked forward too. Lobster- vanilla yogurt succotash. Wait what? Vanilla yogurt and lobster together? Trust me. It was fresh and extremely flavorful.
The third course was something that I had never had before; lamb! Heather told me that it was slightly gamey so I was a bit nervous..I had never had anything that I consider “gamey” before. It ended up being very good. Melt in your mouth good!

At that point I decided it was time to order some bubbly.
Just as our dessert was served (Nectarine-Basil Crisp with Frozen Berry Yogurt), the chef came out and explained how some of the dishes were prepared. He was a good sport and took a couple questions as well! Everything was great- I wouldn’t have changed a thing!
It was a wonderful opportunity and a great night out. I was so honored to be included in this group of great bloggers. It was an evening I will never forget! Thank you so much Chobani!
