After running the Palio 5K on Sunday, I have been re accessing my running goals and plans for the future. I would like to incorporate running regularly into my life again, but don’t want to over do it and then just stop running all together again. By creating a plan I can stick with, my running goals should be more attainable. As of right now, I have decided that Hal Higdon’s 5-K Training: Intermediate is right for me. It is relatively doable with a hectic schedule, and the runs don’t exceed 7 miles. I am planning on running another 5K at the end of October, so this should work out really well! MAYBE I can even beat my current PR and get under 30 minutes! Ideally, I would really like to train and run another half marathon in the spring. This will all be dependent on my schedule and job situation. We will see!
