Can we please talk for a moment about The Fault in our Stars by John Green?
I finally read this book over the long weekend. It blew me out of the water. I agree that there is something special about this book. No matter how hard it makes you cry, you continue reading because you see the truth in beauty in the words on the page.
I don’t want to share any spoilers for those who have not had the time to read this yet- but I am all for a discussion about the book in the comments! Who is with me?
What was your favorite quote or moment from this book?
How many tissues did you go through? My eyes were sore for the rest of the day when I finished this!
P.S – I am currently reading Wonder by R.J. Palacio – anyone else out there read this one?

I’ve heard such great things about this book, but haven’t managed to read it yet. At least this post put it back on my radar! I have a love/hate relationship with books that make me cry uncontrollably… but I definitely respect the authors who can make the characters feel real enough to upset me. Thanks for sharing!

Such a good book! Seems like the Green brothers exposure just keeps increasing and I couldn’t be happier about it–they’re awesome (check out their youtube channels-Vlog Brothers and Crash Course, if you haven’t already). I read TFIOS a while ago, but I feel like I might be due for a re-read. And you should read John’s other books too.
