Washington D.C – A great place for a race!
Jen and I woke up early Sunday morning for her race, the Cherry Blossom 10 Miler! It was a beautiful, yet chilly morning.
Thousands of people flooded into the city for the race.

While Jen was kicking ass, I meandered over to the Jefferson Memorial.
The Cherry Blossom’s by the tidal basin were beautiful!
After Jen finished the race, we headed back to the hotel to get ready for brunch. We had a reservation at Founding Farmers.

We both started off with glorious $12 mimosas.
We also got a pretty tasty fluffer-nutter appetizer.
I rounded out my brunch with a Founding Farmers Breakfast.
After breakfast we hit up the Newseaum, as well as the Air and Space Museum before headed to Dupont Circle for dinner. After about an hour and a half of menu peeping, we decided on Afterwards. Everything about the meal was perfect. A perfect ending to an amazing trip!
